This course will show you why undertaking a local photography project is an incredible idea, offering you a multitude of benefits and opportunities to capture the essence of your community like never before. It’s also a wonderful way to develop your creative vision and style.
How long you want to spend on this course is up to you – you could do a short version of it in as little as a few days or a week, or choose to spend longer, a month, year or even ten years. We recommend trying to set yourself a loose time frame, it’s great to have some boundaries and deadlines, but do let that framework evolve depending on how deep you dive.
It's entirely up to you whether choose to use ICM photography, more traditional approaches or even some alternative process, video, or a mixture to complete this project.
Don’t forget – you can apply this approach to anywhere from your front room to your garden, local park or city centre. Think outside of the box!
